A Row of Tombs: Sabine Lucas on Past Lives (Part 2 of 2)

In the previous post, we learned about the fascinating life of author Dr. Sabine Lucas. Part 2 of the interview explores the idea that everything is connected through the quantum field, why past life healing work is important, and how we can move forward as a collective. The film A Row of Tombs also talks about the quantum field. How do past lives relate to the quantum field? “As far as I know—and I am far from being a physicist—the quantum theory has many different aspects to it. The only aspect that has any bearings on past lives is the hypothesis that time is not an absolute. According to quantum physics, what we call time is really quantified eternity. It is pretty clear that past lives and past life memories exist in a timeless zone outside of 3-D reality. In this timeless zone, past, present, and future are one. This means that what we did in the past, affects us in the present. And...

A Row of Tombs: Sabine Lucas on Past Lives (Part 1 of 2)

Dr. Sabine Lucas was born in Germany and raised there during the Second World War. She studied German and English language and literature at Heidelberg University. For eleven years,  she instructed undergraduates at Reading University in England in German language and literature while acting part of the time as a German language consultant in the educational programs of BBC London. In the throws of a midlife crisis, she entered a Jungian analysis in London which lasted five years. During this time, she got deeply involved with the many inspiring Jungian events organized for the public by Jungian analysts and theologians in London. This led to a career change and, initially, to a psychotherapy training with the Guild of Psychotherapists in London. After two years of eclectic studies with this experimental group she transferred for a more specialized training to the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich. Here she supported herself financially with dream workshops and the German translation of Jane Roberts' Seth Speaks,...

Seeing is Dreaming: Robert Moss

Robert Moss is a teacher and human being I much admire.  He is versed in mythology and folklore, symbolism and psychology, and Native American rituals and rites. His travels and teachings have led him around the world, and he is the author of nine books on dreaming, as well as three historical novels. There are few people I can think of who have led such a rich and connected life, and who dedicates time to sharing knowledge and life experience with others, particularly as related to dreams and dream material. Born in Australia, Robert survived not one, but three near-death experiences in childhood.  A former lecturer in ancient history at the Australian National University, Robert also is a best-selling novelist, poet, journalist and independent scholar.  He is the creator of Active Dreaming, an original synthesis of modern dreamwork and shamanism. From his audio series Dream Gates, he says: "I have become convinced that dreaming is one of the defining characteristics of human beings. In prehistoric times we...

Synchronicity: Being in the Flow of Life

Each month, I send out a subscriber-only newsletter and I want to share with you a section of the last newsletter.  I include a Q&A that covers a wide range of topics  including writing, editing, metaphysics, astrology, and other similar info.  This month's Q&A was particular poignant, so I wanted to make it available here for you. Stephanie from San Francisco, California wrote: How do you explain synchronicities and what do they mean? What if I told you that your question is itself a synchronicity? Leading up to this newsletter I’ve been thinking about and wanting to write about co-creatorship. The mention of Sagittarius and the planet Jupiter, earlier, starts to discuss this. Not only that, in the second interview installment with M.J. Rose, she mentions near the end the idea of synchronicity as the term was coined and defined by Carl Jung. Bravo Stephanie for being in the flow!   Synchronicities are most often seen as 'coincidences' that appear when we do not expect...

A Little Phrase on "The How"

I often receive information first thing upon waking.  Information comes from the dream, from the ether, from the higher self still moving back in to body.  It's lucid and fluid and sometimes, almost, just out of grasp.  Words are quicksilver, and the mind, when slow to follow, loses a race against the never ending inner monologue that picks and chooses what it highlights and when, speeding along toward a finish line stationed at the horizon. This morning I woke from a dream.  The week prior had been long and filled with many dreams of people I knew, and places I had been before, some places beautiful and only existing in dream, and some places to where I'd never like to return.  But what remained was a little phrase, whispering into my ear, when eyes were still closed and the new day had not yet officially begun.  A little phrase that came in, lingered a bit, rolling in like fog and disappearing...
