In this third and final installment, Sahvanna talks about Lightworkers and their healing abilities as well as the importance of the greater community. Here’s what she had to say:

In a chapter called “Your Most Sacred Conduit” you mention that challenges, problems and issues are ways that the universe brings situations that provide experiences for spiritual growth. What reminders, sayings, mantras or techniques do you employ when you’re experiencing challenges in your own life?

“When my heart chakra is wounded, I accept it. I embrace it and I feel love for the experience. We all experience pain, and without owning it, we cannot heal it and release it. Harboring pain and toxic energy in your heart chakra will inhibit your relationships, healing abilities and expansion of your light energy. There are so many books out there that tell you how to be happy, how to have this perfect life, to me that is only setting yourself up to fail. You know the saying, ‘s*** happens,’ so it’s ok to feel pain; without pain we would never know the feeling of joy. When you feel challenged, surrender to it and process it until it leaves you. You will grow from it and come to emerge in a beautiful place of faith when the process is complete.”

You mention that Lightworkers, due to their natural healing abilities, attract the “walking wounded.” How can Lightworkers identify the “walking wounded” and effectively work with those folks without being drained of their own energy?

“Because of the sensitivities that Lightworkers possess, they tend to attract people who are in pain and looking for healing. People just pick up on it; it is a natural magnetic attraction. It is up to the Lightworker to set proper boundaries because the “walking wounded” don’t know boundaries. There are certain people who will drain you and never give back. You have to be conscious of an even and balanced flow of energy in your relationships or they will never succeed. If you’re feeling depleted or like you are a caretaker, then the relationship is not equitable.”

Why is this a crucial time for Lightworkers on the planet to shine their light? What tips can you provide for Lightworkers to help them remain empowered and on track with their mission on this planet?

“The time is always now, but we are making such great progress and I believe it is all programmed in our DNA to be awakened at this time. I am sure we are going experience more and more enlightenment to come. Being empowered and on track is a process. It’s not something that can come from a workshop or a twelve step plan. Becoming empowered in your role is a choice. We are all different and our journeys are unique as well. Some Lightworkers may never achieve mastery of their role and that’s their journey. Others will make the most of what information they gather and ascend higher. That is the beauty of it all; we are all the masters of our own fate. The roadmap may be plotted out for you, but you choose your road.”

How do you feel that recognizing that “we are all one” is important to nurturing healthy, flourishing communities on this planet?

“There is no such thing as separation; we all originate from the same brilliant light. Your spirit is a spark of a universal energy so great and powerful that also allows us the gift of being our own individual! We are all part of one eternal source of love and light, no matter our religious beliefs, reservations or misgivings; we are all one with God and what we do unto others we do unto ourselves.”

In closing, I asked Sahvanna about her favorite quote, saying or personal mantra. Her favorite quote, originally spoken by Mother Teresa, is:

“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”

So then, shall we?

  • Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any helpful hints for first-time blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
